Crowdfunding Effort

It’s been a while since I’ve updated this site but here’s what new:
1) I’m hard at work on the sequel to Deny. It will be called Forgive, although the release date is still TBD. It might be a little ways down the road because….

2) I’ve launched a unique crowdfunding effort for a special project I want to devote my time to this year. I am aiming to write one short story (approximately 80 pages) every month for the entire year. This will allow me to impact a larger audience and give a better demonstration of what type of author I strive to be. I’ll be updating a lot more on here and on Twitter throughout this project. For more details, visit the project site HERE.

It’s been over two months since the release of Deny.

I’ve learned a couple things:

1) It’s really cool to hear back from people who have read my book. So far, it’s getting a ton of great response. Really exciting!

2) I’m terrible at running a blog/website.

Hopefully #2 will change soon, but in the meantime, let’s worry about #1. I love when people check out my debut novel so much that I’m making it COMPLETELY FREE today through Friday!

Check it out and spread the word. Write an amazon review if you can!

Deny Playlist

If you’re like me, you probably appreciate what music can add to a piece of art. Who doesn’t love when a great movie has an equally great soundtrack? These are songs that I believe can serve as a great companion to my first ever novel, Deny, recently published as an e-book. They don’t necessarily apply directly to the story, but they are certainly on the same page tonally. I hope that it will bring an exciting new aspect to the reading for you.

So here it is…The DENY Playlist:

‘Dexter’ final season trailer — EXCLUSIVE

Originally posted on Inside TV:

The first Dexter final season trailer gives glimpses of romance and violence, along with high drama between the murderously pragmatic Dexter Morgan and his emotionally turbulent sister Debra.

As EW reported yesterday, Showtime confirmed the upcoming eighth season will be the last for the show. The announcement also included a full scene from the new season. Star Michael C. Hall was creatively satisifed with the decision, saying he’s looking forward to life beyond Dexter.

But for us fans, there’s still 12 episodes left, featuring new guest stars Charlotte Rampling (as a psychiatrist specializing in serial killers) and Sean Patrick Flanery (as Deb’s new detective agency boss), along with the return of Dexter’s twisted love interest played by Yvonne Strahovski.

Below, exclusively on, here’s a look at the eighth and final round of Dexter, which gets underway June 30:

Deny will be available as an e-book on Amazon this Monday, April 22nd!

Cassie Moore just killed her only (sort of) friend.
And she liked it.

Deny is the story of a girl who has awakened a darkness inside of her and can’t escape the urges and cravings that insist she was born to be a monster.

And maybe she was.

But then again, there are other voices to consider and sometimes the biggest challenge in life is to figure out who or what to believe.
Cassie finds herself stuck between two worlds but quickly becoming more and more immersed in the world of darkness and violence.

It’s what she’s drawn to. It’s where she feels most free, and who doesn’t want to be free?

Who determines what’s right or wrong anyways? Can we really be expected to fight against our own nature?

Deny, the debut novel from Mark Gray, is a gripping thriller that enters the mind of a young killer as she wrestles with her identity, uncovers life-altering family secrets and battles for control of her own destiny.

For fans of faith-based thrillers from authors like Ted Dekker or Frank Peretti or the Dexter book or TV series.
